The Dubbo Study is a longitudinal community study of senior citizens born before 1930 living in the Dubbo region of central Australia, investigating patterns and predictors of mortality, hospitalisation and the need for residential care.

This website showcases the findings of the Dubbo Study and other research focused on healthy ageing. Find out more about the Dubbo Study here.

In March 2012, the Dubbo Study hosted a one-day Health Ageing Symposium led by distinguished experts in Sydney, with 30 participants from Australia and around the world. View the meeting report and slides from the presentations here.
